Teeth

Teeth are crazy, aren't they? They grow in, and then they fall out. I just had one fall out last night, actually. My aunt got two permanent teeth knocked out when she was sledding as a kid, so she has two fake teeth. My cousin also knocked one out when he fell down the stairs.

I have a permanent (for a few years) retainer-thing that is behind my teeth. I might have to have braces someday, too. I can't imagine how dentists and orthodontists can look at teeth for a job. Even just writing two paragraphs about them is kind of gross. I'm glad that we have teeth though!

The Biggest Mistake Ever (on a sewing machine)

UH-OH!!! Mistakes happen, but I had never had one this big! I was sewing the 3rd thing that I had ever sewn by myself, and somehow, the fabric wouldn't move! I didn't know what to do, so I just kept pressing the pedal. I did this for a long time before I finally asked my grandma.

My grandma has been sewing for a long time, and her mom taught her how to, so she is pretty much an expert. But even she couldn't get it! I almost started crying, because I thought my 3-day old sewing machine was already broken. After a while though, she finally got it out. I was so happy!!

Now, I know that if something doesn't work, don't keep trying it!!!! I thankfully haven't ever done that again! I keep that in my box of sewing supplies to remind me of that time, and what not to do on a sewing machine.
